From doing to being

Learn how to be fully here.

Most of us spend our days doing. Very few of us were ever taught how to simply be — awake and present inside our own lives. That is what we teach.

The Weekly Practice

One hour, once a week. A guided practice, a short teaching, and time to sit with others who are learning the same thing. No experience needed. Nothing to buy.

Thank you — the joining link is on its way to your inbox.

We will only write to you about the sessions. Leave any time.

What happens in an hour

  • A short, plain teaching — no jargon, no belief required
  • A guided practice you can actually do
  • Quiet time to sit with it
  • Space to ask anything, or stay silent

Come with your camera off if you like. Many people do.

What is already true

Nothing is broken in you. It has only been covered over.

Think of the sky on a grey day. The clouds move in, and we say the sky has gone grey. But the blue was never lost — only hidden.

You are like that sky. Under the hurry and the noise, something in you is already steady, already awake. You do not have to build it or earn it. You only have to come home to it. That is the whole of our work.

From two decades of this work

What people say.

"It focuses on the being rather than the knowing. That changed how I show up — at work, and at home."

A programme participantCoach, Germany

"I came in wanting techniques. I left with something quieter and far more useful — a way of being with myself."

A programme participantTeam lead, Mumbai

"My children noticed before I did. That told me everything."

A programme participantParent, Bengaluru

These reflections come from participants in our founder's earlier work over two decades of teaching presence. School of Being is new — our own first cohort begins shortly, and their stories will be told here in their own words.

Who is behind this

Taught by someone who has lived it.

Our founder

School of Being is founded and led by a teacher with more than two decades of practice and teaching in mindfulness and human wellbeing — work that has reached thousands of people across organisations, schools, and homes. This school is the culmination of that: an attempt to build something lasting for the one thing that underlies everything else.

Honest answers

You might be wondering.

I have tried meditation before and could not keep it up.
Most people have. Usually the problem is not you — it is that you were handed a technique without a foundation, and asked to do it alone. We teach in a small group, week by week, with practices that fit into an ordinary life. And you will not be doing it alone.
I do not have time for this.
That is often the clearest sign it is needed. The weekly session is one hour. The programme asks for about ten minutes of daily practice and one live session a week. It is designed for people with full lives, not for people on retreat.
Is this religious or spiritual?
No belief is required, and none is taught. We draw on the world's oldest contemplative practices and stand them beside modern science. Whatever you believe or do not believe, you are welcome exactly as you are.
What does the programme cost?
We share the fee when we talk. We keep cohorts small and want to be sure the programme is right for you before either of us commits — so we begin with a conversation, not a payment page.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. Sessions are recorded for participants, and your guide will help you catch up. Missing one week does not mean falling behind.
Do I have to talk or turn my camera on?
Never. Many people sit quietly with their camera off for weeks before they say a word. Presence does not require performance.

Come and sit with us once.

The weekly practice is free and open to anyone. It costs you an hour, and nothing else.
